General Questions
Do you offer dry cleaning?
Unfortunately, we do not offer dry cleaning at this time.
Do you offer gift cards for laundry services?
We do. If you are interested in purchasing a gift card, please let our staff know.
Do you offer alterations?
No, we do not offer alterations at this time.
Self- Serve Laundry
What hours is the laundromat open?
The laundromat is open every day, from 6:30am to 11:00pm. Last wash is at 10:15pm, and we ask all customers to finish their laundry and exit the building by 11:00pm promptly.
Are pets allowed inside the laundromat?
Unfortunately, for the safety and comfort of all our customers, we ask that you do not bring your pets inside the laundromat. This includes emotional support animals (ESAs). Well behaved service animals are always welcome.
Do you offer detergent or fabric softener for purchase?
Yes! We have a variety of detergents, fabric softeners, and bleach for purchase via our vending machines or our front desk. We even offer bags!
How do I report a problem with a machine?
If an attendant is on site, please report problems with equipment to the staff present. If a problem happens before or after the attendant has left, please call or text our after-hours phone number of (816) 656-7698. The number is posted in several places around the laundromat for reference.
Do you offer Free Wifi?
Yes! We offer free Wi-Fi to all our customers. Other amenities on site include a soda machine,multiple TVs, restroom, and comfortable chairs and tables. We are also walking distance to both Popeye's, CVS, and Dunkin Donuts, making our laundromat a convenient errand!
Do you have staff present at the laundromat?
Yes, we have staff present every day, 8:30am to 5:00pm, excluding some federal holidays. If you ever need assistance after hours and an attendant is not on site, you are welcome to call the after hours number 816-656-7698 to talk to the owners directly.
Are your self-service machines energy-efficient?
They are! We are proud to offer all brand-new, high efficiency machines in our laundromat. Our new equipment allows you to wash and dry your items in under an hour.
Can I pay with a card in self-service?
Yes — all of our machines accept cash, debit, and credit cards for your convenience.
Do you have machines for large loads in self-service?
Yes — our newly remodeled facility has high-capacity washers and dryers so you can do large loads quickly. Most customers are in and out in under an hour.
Wash & Fold Laundry
Can you launder comforters, blankets, or bulky items?
Yes—we handle bulky items like duvets, comforters, quilts, and mattress covers, so your guests always have fresh, clean bedding.
What type of payment options do you offer?
For our self-service laundry, we are happy to take both cash and debit/credit as payment. Our location offers an easy to use payment kiosk as well as an ATM to get your laundry started asap! For our wash and fold service, we take cash and any major credit or debit card. Checks are not accepted at this time, except in the case of invoiced commercial customers.
Is there a referral program available to customers?
We encourage all wash and fold customers to participate in our referral program! We offer $5 off your next order, and $5 credit to the friend or family you referred. To get your custom code, login using the order link in your text messages. Navigate the menu, and select "Refer a Friend". Here, you can copy your custom referral code.
Is there a loyalty program available to customers?
Yes, we offer loyalty programs for both our drop off and pickup & delivery wash and fold customers. You can opt-in to the rewards program visiting the link in your text message, then navigating through the menu to "Rewards". Follow the instructions. If you are visiting the laundromat in person, we can also opt you in.
Do you clean wedding dresses or formal wear?
Inside the laundromat, we only clean items that can be machine washed. If you are interested in having your wedding dress cleaned, or cleaned & preserved, we are happy to arrange the service through our partner, Wedding Gown Preservation Co. Do you clean pet bedding?
We do! We ask that your pet bedding is free of any feces, and has no holes when bringing it in. As long as it is machine washable and in good shape, we are happy to clean it.
Do you provide laundry bags for recurring customers?
Yes, every new wash and fold customer receives one reusable Splash Laundry bag with their first order. Additional bags can be purchased for $10 each.
Can I drop off laundry after hours?
Laundry is able to be dropped off 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Sunday. If you are unable to drop off during that time, we recommend submitting an order for Pickup & Delivery-- our drivers are happy to pickup laundry on doorsteps, at offices, or wherever is convenient for you.
Do you offer stain treatment for set-in stains?
We will always make every effort to treat stains while processing your order. If there are any particular items with stains you want us to work on, please make a note in your order or let our staff know. While we cannot guarantee stain removal, we do have a few tricks up our sleeves!
Can you press or iron my clothes after washing?
We can iron clothes on a case by case basis, for an extra fee. We are able to iron or steam up to 5 items per order, at an additional cost of $6 per item.
Is tipping your driver required?
No. Tipping your driver is never expected. However, if you feel the staff has done a great job, tips are always appreciated. Tips added to your order will be split with any staff members that serviced your order, driver included.
Do you offer same-day pickup and delivery?
We do! Same day pickup and delivery is available Monday- Saturday at an increased price of $2.75 per pound. All orders for same day pickup must be submitted by 7:30am of the current day.
How do you handle lost or damaged items?
Lost or damaged items are handled on a case by case basis. Please review our Terms & Conditions to understand our full promises and responsibilities.
Are there any items you cannot wash?
We ask that you only submit items that you want machine washed. We do not have dry cleaning capabilities at Splash Laundry. If items need special care, please add a note in your order or let our staff know when you drop off.
Do you separate laundry by family member?
We are happy to process your laundry based on your preferences. If laundry is seperated by family member, please let us know so we can keep them seperated while processing.
Can I schedule recurring pickups?
Absolutely! Setting up recurring pickups every week, two weeks, or once a month allows you to join our "Splash Pass", which gives you a 10% discount, and 1 free reusable Splash Laundry bag. Pickup & Delivery is always free, available Monday through Saturday.
What type of products do you use on my wash and fold order?
Each customer's needs are evaluated with each service. Our laundry experts have a wide range of products they can use, depending on the characteristics and preferences of the order they are working on. We use powerful yet gentle detergent specially formulated for commercial use, with a choice of scented (lavender) or nonscented. Other chemicals we may use include baking soda, oxygen brightener, vinegar, odoban, and stain remover. You are always welcome to include your own detergent to use with your order as well.
How fast can I get my laundry back?
Standard service is 24 hours, but we also offer express same-day service for an additional fee. Large orders and specialty items may require more time.
Is there a minimum order for pickup and delivery?
Yes — our standard minimum is 17 pounds of laundry per pickup. This helps us keep the service efficient and affordable.
Do I need to sort my laundry before bringing it in?
No sorting is necessary, though we do ask that you make sure all pockets are empty. If you have any special instructions, simply let us know when you drop off or schedule your pickup.

Yes — our standard minimum is 15 pounds of laundry per pickup. This helps us keep the service efficient and affordable.
What is Wash & Fold laundry service?
Wash & Fold laundry service means you drop off (or we pick up) your dirty laundry, and we wash, dry, and neatly fold it for you. Pricing is typically per pound, and includes detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets. It’s a convenient option for busy individuals, families, and businesses.

What types of uniforms do you clean?
We clean workwear, staff uniforms, medical scrubs, hospitality uniforms, industrial clothing, sports uniforms, and more. Anything that can be machine-washed, we can do. Unfortunately, we do not offer dry cleaning at this time.
Can guests use your laundry service directly?
Yes! We offer wash-and-fold pickup and delivery for hotel guests who want their laundry done during their stay.

Car Seat Cleaning
How long does car seat cleaning take?
Standard car seat cleaning is typically completed within 48 hours. An expedited overnight service is also available. Please reach out to our staff to inquire about availability.
What is the process for car seat cleaning?
After pickup or dropoff, we start by vacuuming the car seat inside and out. Next, we clean and sanitize using gentle ingredients, taking special care of straps and buckles. All cleaning is according to each car seat manual, no matter what. Next, we will thoroughly dry the car seat, making sure to prevent any rust or mold. Finally we carefully put all the pieces back together, and package your seat for return.
What types of cleaning products do you use for cleaning car seats?
We use only natural and car seat safe cleaners that are safe for your precious cargo. Generally, we use a combination of Castile soap, plant- based & unscented dish soap, and unscented laundry detergent. These products may change based on your individual car seat's cleaning guides in the manual.
Will you clean a car seat that has vomit, urine, feces, or some other type of biohazard?
We will take car seats that contain biohazards, but will require you choose the "Mega Tot " service.
RUG Cleaning & Repair
My rug is damaged/ has a tear/ etc. Can you repair it?
Our trusted partners at KC rug are happy to evaluate your rug for any repairs it may need. However, quotes of repairs unfortunately are not able to be made without seeing the rug in person.
What price can I expect for my rug cleaning?
Rug cleanings are priced based on the type of rug (synthetic, wool, oriental, viscose, etc), the size of the rug, and the state the rug is in. Generally, yu can expect to pay $3.15/ sq foot for Synthetic, Tufted Wool, Machine made Viscose, and Shag rugs. For Oriental, Wool and Viscose rugs, the charge will be $4.05 per square foot. Odor removal for urine and/or water damage are priced in addition to the base price. You will be charged a $250 deposit upon pickup/ dropoff, with the actual balance being adjusted after the rug has been measured and evaluated by KC rug. Can you handle oversized rugs?
We can handle any size rugs. Thin, machine-washable rugs can be processed in our laundromat in Gladstone, up to about 9 x 12 feet. For any rugs that are either larger, or not machine-washable, we provide rug cleaning services through our local partners.

Bridal Dress Cleaning & Preservation
What upgrades are available for preservation?
You can customize your preservation package with a few optional upgrades: Accessories Boxed Separately, Celebrity Line Upgrade ,& Personalization Options. See the above pricing section for the complete list to make your chest a keepsake that's truly your own.
Is my gown insured during the process?
Yes! Every gown is covered up to a $2,000 declared value at no extra charge. If your dress is worth more, you can purchase additional coverage for $50 per $1,000 of declared value.
How does the process work with Splash Laundry?
Simply drop off your gown at our store during staffed hours (7 days a week, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) or schedule a pickup through our website. We’ll handle everything from there—your dress is shipped securely to Wedding Gown Preservation Co., where it’s cleaned and preserved. You’ll receive tracking updates by email, and once your gown is back at Splash Laundry, we’ll send you a text that it’s ready for pickup or delivery, whichever you choose.
What will I see in the display window of the preservation chest?
Your gown and veil will be visible in the display window. Any additional items, such as gloves or garters, are neatly wrapped and stored underneath the gown or at the bottom of the chest when possible.
What exactly is the cleaning process?
Every gown is assessed individually when it arrives. The safest cleaning method for that specific fabric and design is chosen. After cleaning, your gown is fitted on an acid-free bust form and carefully sealed inside an acid-neutral preservation chest. Shoulder pads or bust pads are removed (to prevent long-term damage), wrapped in tissue, and stored beneath your gown.
What stains can your process remove?
Our professional process removes about 95% of stains, including blood, grease, tar, perspiration, mud, grass, wine, cake icing, and other sugars. Each gown is carefully evaluated, and the safest, most effective stain removal methods are applied. .
How do I track the status of my gown?
When you drop off or schedule a pickup, simply provide an email address. You’ll receive email notifications when your gown is received by our preservation partner and again when it ships back to Splash Laundry. When your gown is delivered back to Splash Laundry, you will be notified via text message to arrange a delivery or pickup in store. What kinds of repairs can be done to my gown?
Our preservation partner employs highly trained specialists who can handle most gown repairs for a nominal fee. If you’d like an estimate, note it on your paperwork and you’ll receive a call with a detailed repair quote before any work begins.
What else can I send along with my gown?
As a special benefit for Splash Laundry customers, you may include up to 5 accessories at no additional cost. Accessories can include your veil, train, hat, jacket, shawl, cape, robe, duster, ring pillow, money bag, purse, hanger, handkerchief, gloves, garter, scarf, or bow. Additional accessories may be preserved for a small fee.
How long will preservation take?
On average, gowns take 4–10 weeks to be carefully cleaned, preserved, and returned. We want to make sure every gown receives the individual attention it deserves.

Do you repair designer or high-end brands?
Absolutely. Our cobblers are experts in luxury and designer items, working with brands like Louboutin, Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Tory Burch, Ferragamo, and more. Whether it’s a sole replacement, color restoration, or cleaning, your items are in trusted hands.
How much do shoe or leather repairs cost?
Pricing depends on the type of repair and the condition of your item. Since every piece is unique, exact pricing will be provided once our cobblers inspect your shoes or leather goods. You’ll receive a full breakdown and have the chance to approve before any work is started.
Do you offer orthopedic buildups or shoe lifts?
Yes! Our cobblers can create custom orthopedic buildups or shoe lifts ranging from 1/8 inch to 3 inches. They can even expertly reattach part of the original sole so that the buildup blends seamlessly with the shoe.
What happens if the cobbler has a question about my repair?
If our cobblers need to discuss your repair or suggest an alternative solution, they’ll reach out directly by phone or email. You’ll always have the final say before work begins.
How long will it take to get my repaired items back?
Most repairs are completed within 2–3 weeks, depending on the service and condition of the item. Once your order is ready, Splash Laundry will notify you for pickup or arrange delivery.
Do you also work on purses, backpacks, or briefcases?
Yes! Our partner cobblers specialize in repairing and restoring all kinds of leather goods. We can clean, waterproof, repair wallets, adjust or replace straps, fix hardware, and even custom dye handbags, purses, and briefcases to restore or completely change their color.
What types of repairs can you do for shoes and boots?
We handle just about everything! From replacing zippers and stretching leather shoes to fixing elastic, Velcro, and magnetic snaps. Our cobblers also apply sole protectors, replace laces, and resole all types of shoes and boots—including designer heels, sneakers, cowboy boots, and work boots.
